FYI, Domain privacy keeps anyone who might be snoopy from finding out what your home address is just by knowing your domain name. If you don’t use domain privacy, anyone could decide you or your family is attractive/a threat/ungodly/(name your own weird freaked out excuse why someone would stalk you here), find out where you live, and use that information against you in any number of ways. I trust that the vast majority of my readers are great people just trying to save money. But my name and image is out there, so I don’t want absolutely everyone to know where I live. KWIM? So yeah, if you use NameCheap to register, you’ll get your domain privacy for free for the first year, and not have to worry about creepy people having your home addy!
